Family-owned distributors, Dormex Containers, specialise in trading in plastic laboratory equipment and pharmaceutical packaging. The Cheshire based company owns hundreds of stock moulds, offers a huge variety of containers and also stocks a wide range of containers that can be manufactured to customer specifications.
Storage structures to suit the environment
The sheer volume of products to store, and with an increase in orders and operations, the need for a fast, additional storage solution became key, along with extra work space. Additionally, Dormex wanted a structure that would blend seamlessly into the beautiful surroundings so chose it in juniper green.
Director Andy Butters headed up the building project, suggesting that a 10m wide x 20m length by 4.2m high non-insulated temporary building would be the ideal solution to create a long-term, semi-permanent storage structure on site. The building has been purchased by Dormex as part of their on-site storage strategy- a resolution that will last durably for up to 15 years, and be a crucial part of the successful company’s continued growth.
Dormex’s managing director, Kevin Murphy, says:
“We are very happy with the unit. From initial consultation and survey, Aganto took care of all the details and provided the extra space we needed, with the minimum of disruption to our business.
The professionalism of the surveyor, and the efficiency of the installation crew made the project easy for us to achieve our desperately needed extra work space.”
Dormex were extremely impressed with Aganto’s site managers and installation team, adding:
“The crew were great, very little disruption to us working, and very professional at all times. A credit to your company.”
