IMHX is the largest event in the logistics industry calendar; so prestigious it occurs once every three years and that big it takes four huge halls at the NEC Birmingham. As one of the UK’s leading temporary building suppliers, Aganto signed up knowing the importance of the event.
5am starts, bacon butties, cracked heels, firm handshakes and too many jelly beans…IMHX 2016 has definitely been eventful. Hard work, lots of planning, many meetings and even more impromptu trips to the NEC, IMHX-related graft has been par de cours for many of the Aganto team for over a year now.
IMHX is the largest event in the logistics industry calendar; so prestigious it occurs once every three years and that big it takes four huge halls at the NEC Birmingham.
Aganto, as one of the UK’s leading temporary building suppliers, signed up knowing the importance of the event and had a key position in Hall 11. The stand was open, clean and sleek, with the ‘futureproof’ concept clear and direct for all to see, but informal and approachable enough to comfortably welcome visitors and fellow exhibitors.
Indeed, Aganto’s open and honest approach is so ingrained into the company’s ethos; all directors were chomping at the bit to speak to new and existing customers, to negotiate deals and to perpetuate the entrepreneurial spirit that typifies Aganto.
Amidst the cold wall of suits, waiting to pounce on any unsuspecting visitor, the Aganto team had fun, and invited down to earth chats with many people, discussing the theme and notion of how Aganto can in fact futureproof a business from all eventualities.
In these tricky times, Aganto wanted to be on hand at IMHX to reassure both small businesses and multinational corporations alike, that they can be relied on for fast, additional cost effective storage- today and tomorrow, to always be that plan b.
Injecting a pop of colour and a sense of humour to the event, Aganto were giving away goodie bags to all those who enquired about any of the range of temporary buildings. Limited edition bags were full of USBs, jelly beans and cool travel mugs, toted around the event and showcasing the Aganto brand that little bit more, flaunting itself with tongue firmly in cheek.
Without doubt the most successful Aganto event to date, with the frontline sales team already spread out and beavering away on site visits all over the UK, the whole Aganto team has had a part to play in helping make it success, and it has most certainly been a team focus for a long time now.
Familiar faces, new friends, loyal backroom staff and open-minded management has most definitely contributed in the success too and no doubt will in IMHX 2019 too!
IMHX 2016- it’s been emotional.
